FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) prioritizes shipping products closest to expiration first, while FIFO (First-In-First-Out) only considers when stock arrived. For products with expiry dates, FEFO is essential — older batches don't always expire first. TraceLot automatically assigns the earliest-expiring batch to every order, ensuring you never ship expired stock and minimize write-offs.
Most e-commerce platforms — including Veeqo and Shopify — don't track batch numbers or lot numbers at the order level.
