Batch & Expiry Tracking for Your Shopify Store
Shopify doesn't track batch numbers, lot numbers, or expiry dates. TraceLot adds full batch traceability to your Shopify store — FEFO auto-allocation on every order, automatic expiry protection, and bidirectional inventory sync so you never sell expired products.
First month free. Cancel anytime.
What Shopify can't do alone
Shopify tracks a quantity, not a batch. For food, supplements, beauty, or anything with a date on it, these are the gaps between 'in stock' and 'safe to ship'.
One inventory number per variant — no expiry anywhere
Every variant splits into lots with expiry, supplier, bin, and certificates
No rule for which unit ships first
FEFO on every Shopify order — earliest-expiring lot, assigned automatically
Expired stock keeps selling until you spot it
Expired lots leave Shopify's available stock the day they lapse
Fulfillment can't see lot numbers
Bin-sorted, printable pick lists tell pickers the exact lot and location
Lot recalls mean digging through order exports
One click exports every order and customer that received the lot

Every order line → lot · expiry · bin, synced two-way with Shopify

Shopify App Questions
How does TraceLot integrate with Shopify?
TraceLot connects to your Shopify store via the official Shopify API. Once installed, your products and inventory are imported automatically. TraceLot syncs inventory levels bidirectionally — when you receive new stock or a batch expires, your Shopify inventory updates in real time.
Will TraceLot slow down my Shopify store?
No. TraceLot runs as a separate application that communicates with Shopify through webhooks and API calls. It does not inject any code into your storefront and has zero impact on your store's page load speed.
Does TraceLot work with Shopify POS?
TraceLot syncs inventory at the location level, so your Shopify POS locations will reflect accurate stock counts after batch adjustments and expiry holds. Batch assignment is handled automatically when orders come through.
Can I use TraceLot with multiple Shopify locations?
Yes. TraceLot supports multiple Shopify locations. You can track batches separately by location, enforce FEFO at each warehouse or store, and maintain independent expiry tracking — all synced automatically.
What data does TraceLot access from my Shopify store?
TraceLot accesses your product catalog, inventory levels, locations, and order information to provide batch tracking and FEFO allocation. We do not access customer payment information or modify your storefront. See our privacy policy for full details.
How do I uninstall TraceLot?
You can uninstall TraceLot at any time from your Shopify admin under Apps. Your Shopify inventory will remain at its current levels. Your TraceLot batch history data is retained for 30 days in case you want to reinstall.
What support is available?
All plans include email support. Pro plans get priority support, and Enterprise customers receive dedicated support. You can also reach us through the contact page on our website or via the in-app chat.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — your first month is completely free on any plan. No credit card required to start. After the trial, choose the plan that fits your order volume or cancel with no commitment.
