What ships in this release
When an order syncs from Veeqo, TraceLot’s FEFO allocation assigns the earliest-expiring in-date batch to each line. With this release, that allocation doesn’t stay inside TraceLot: it is written back into the order’s line-item notes in Veeqo, formatted by a template you define. Because Veeqo prints line-item notes on packing slips and order documents, every slip that comes out of your printer now carries the lot and expiry for each line — automatically.
A template you control
You decide exactly what appears on the slip. The template supports tokens for lot/batch code, expiry date, supplier, remaining quantity, description, and your own custom batch fields. For example, this template:

To set it up, open Settings → Channels, find your Veeqo channel card, and open the line format dialog from there. The dialog only appears when a Veeqo connection exists — if you haven’t connected yet, the Veeqo page walks through it.
Always matching the current allocation
Allocations change — a batch runs out, stock is corrected, an order is edited. Whenever TraceLot updates an order’s allocation, it rewrites the Veeqo notes to match. The note on the line is never a snapshot of what was true when the order first synced; it reflects the batch that is actually allocated right now. Print the slip at pack time and it agrees with the pick.
Why put lot numbers on the slip at all?
- Packers see the lot without a second screen. The slip in their hand names the batch to pick — it works alongside TraceLot’s pick lists with lot and expiry, or on its own.
- FEFO survives contact with the floor. Allocating the earliest-expiring batch only rotates stock if the packer actually picks that batch; printing it on the slip closes the gap.
- Customers see freshness. A visible lot and expiry on the slip signals that you track what you ship.
- B2B buyers often require it. Wholesale, food-service, and retail customers frequently mandate lot numbers on delivery paperwork — now it’s on every slip without anyone typing it.

Which tokens can I use in the template?
Lot/batch code, expiry date, supplier, remaining quantity, description, and any custom batch fields you have defined. You combine them with your own separators and labels, like “Lot {batchCode} · Exp {expiryDate}”.
What happens if the allocation changes after the order syncs?
TraceLot rewrites the Veeqo line-item notes whenever it updates an allocation, so the notes always match the currently allocated batch — the slip you print at pack time reflects reality, not a stale snapshot.
Where do I edit the template?
