PO Tips
Beta reorder suggestions for products projected to run short, based on your recent order history.
Updated 2026-09-03
PO Tips is a beta feature that suggests what to reorder before you run out. It compares each product's current stock against how fast it's been selling and lists only the products it expects to fall short.

What it suggests
Pick a warehouse first — the page is empty until one is selected. For each product, Tracelot looks at order activity from your batch history over the last 30 days, works out an average daily sell-through, and projects that pace forward 30 days. A product only appears on this page if that projection would use up more than the current stock — in other words, it's a shortlist of shortages, not a full inventory view.
| Column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Product Name | Click it to open the product. |
| SKU | The variant SKU. |
| Last Ordered Date | The most recent order date for this product. |
| Current Inventory | Stock on hand, colored red if less than a week of stock remains at the current pace, amber if less than two weeks. |
| Suggested Reorder Qty | The projected shortfall — expected demand over the period minus current stock — with a small buffer added. |
| Reason | A short explanation, e.g. out of stock, or an estimate of how many days of stock are left. |
| Actions | View Product — opens the product. |
Last Ordered Date, Current Inventory, and Suggested Reorder Qty are sortable by clicking their headers; the page defaults to sorting by Suggested Reorder Qty, highest first. Search by product name or SKU with the search box above the table.
Using a suggestion
PO Tips doesn't create a purchase order for you — it's a starting point for one you place with your supplier outside Tracelot. Click View Product to check current batches and recent activity before you commit to a quantity, since the suggestion is only as good as the recent order history it's based on.
